Kitchen Cabinet Repainting in Hopewell Junction, NY
Oak kitchen cabinets painted from an old natural stain to a more modern light grey. We cleaned everything with a degreaser called spray 9. Scuff sanded the entire kitchen and did 2 coats of an acrylic akylid primer which is water base and low VOC. We sanded between each coat and let the primer harden over night. The next morning top coated with Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane with a dry time of 4 hrs between coats. This customer decided not to have a grain filler applied and liked the grain of the wood showing through
