I started painting when I was 19 — my first real job. A few years later, when I was dating my now-wife Alexandria, her parents needed their townhouse painted. I said I’d do it in exchange for one month of health insurance and a trip to Disney World. They loved the work and started referring me to their neighbors. Within a year and a half, I had a painting business.
We started as First Class Painting Service in 2008. TruCare came later — after a hard season of life where I lost focus and got distant with my customers. A tough conversation with one homeowner made it clear: they didn’t just need a quality paint job, they needed to feel like we cared. That became the mission. TruCare means “We Truly Care” — and it shows up in our communication, our craftsmanship, our cleanliness, and the attitude we bring to every job: humble, grateful, and fully present.
